YouTube Video Ads?

Have YouTube starting showing advertisements before videos now!? Over the past few weeks I have been greeted with "Advertisement: Your video will start in 15 seconds" or something along those lines when I click to view a video and to be honest I don't like it! It has made be exit the video on occasion. I don't mind the in-video advertisements, because you are still getting your video from the start, but these video ads are just plain annoying, many other video websites show them and I always gave YouTube credit for not following suit....

YouTube as a Music Player?

Just want to write a quick post about music, more out of curiosity than anything else! Lately I've found myself using YouTube as a music player more than listening to the MP3's on my computer. The only thing that used to put me off YouTube for music was the sound quality, but with the high quality options now available, it's perfect for sound.

What do you use for music? YouTube? iTunes?Let me know with comment below.

Fred on YouTube

So, basically I want someone to tell me what the story is with Fred? I just don't find it or him funny. I'm not saying it's stupid or anything it's just not for me!

From what I've noticed Fred only seems to appeal to children,I have showed it to people my age, and the reactions was: What's this?

But anytime I show it to my cousins or younger people, they go into hysterics. Seems to only be a younger thing.
But I suppose it is the viral thing on YouTube at the moment so we'll have to stick with it.

Interactive YouTube Videos

YouTube have released a new function to their users, Video Annotations, this gives you, the user the option to add annotations, bubble messages, and even links, directly into your YouTube videos!, Here is a simple example of what you could do,

There is a tutorial video on YouTube located here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxnopxbOdic&feature=iv

And a demo, Interactive Card Trick, to give you an idea http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tbEei0I3kMQ&NR=1

I would like to have embedded these, But it has been disabled by the authors for these videos.
