Business stimulus package ignored, say Fianna Fail

PROPOSALS by Kilkenny’s Fianna Fail group to have commercial rates slashed by 2% in a bid to assist local business were defeated at Monday’s budget meeting in City Hall.
The proposals were part of a stimulus package constructed by the FF group that would assist business, encourage employment and not take away from the income of the Local Authorities.
