Funding for Callan school

DEPUTY John McGuinness has confirmed that following his ongoing representations, Bunscoil McAuley Rice, Callan, is to receive funding for the provision of an 80 metre square general purpose room. “I’m delighted this funding has been approved as it will further improve facilities at the school. The building unit from the Department of Education will be in contact with the school authorities shortly,” the deputy told Kilkenny Alive.
