Porter prices drop in city pubs

IT WAS one of the few bits of good news in Budget 2009. The price of porter was lowered by the Government.
And the further good news is that a majority of Kilkenny publicans have already passed the decrease on to imbibers.
The price of the pint has dropped by at least 10 cents and up to 15 cents in local pubs.
