IT IS popularly known as The Last Supper but at the event takes place every year in Castlecomer it could be renamed The Everlasting Last Supper.
As the Castlecomer Wellie Race is to thousands of people, the Last Supper is to local charities that benefit from the proceeds.
This year’s Last Supper is in Shortall’s of Castlecomer on Friday at 9pm and the Wellie Race organisers have stressed that all are welcome, including participants and all who were involved with Wellie Parade floats.
Music is by the ever popular Michael Kealy.
During the night cheques will be presentatives to representatives of local groups that do brilliant work in the community.
