Yup, you read it right, now you can make money by using your Twitter account! A new service Ad.ly has launched that lets you run adverts in the form of Tweets on your Twitter account. At first that mind sound a bit pushy, you could be thinking "I don't want some robot sending out 400 Tweets a day on my account of pure rubbish". Well you don't have to worry about that, when you sign up you choose 4 subjects that describe you, these will be the basis of your Tweets(Ads).
 

Do you like to follow people on Twitter? I do! I love to see what others are up to with their cyber snippets, but there are a lot of people that don't follow you back, so after a while when your "Following" heavily outweighs your "Followers" you can start to look like a bit of a cyber stalker. What can be done?
 
I found this neat little script over on userscripts.org which allows you to remove people from your friends list who don't follow you back.
 

How would you like to watch all your tweets fly in front of you, animated? Sounds pretty cool eh?

http://visibletweets.com is a service which lets you do this, once you're on the site you simply type in a keyword, this could be a place, person, or even your own Twitter user-name, if you want to look at your own Tweets and replies!

It's simple to use too, once on the animated Tweets page you can change the animation in the top right corner.

By now you have to know about twitter, everyone uses it, but have you ever wondered about making your own twitter? You could write it from scratch, the code wouldn't be too deep, the simple ideas are always the best!

There is also plenty of pre-made software out there for you, open source of course, to create your own twitter-like service, but what if someone has already done the work for you?

One thing I love to keep in action on this site is the twitter block I have, where all my tweets are posted on the site here in real time. But twitter have decided not to let me do this anymore, not just me, everyone! Wethere it's a bug in their system, server issues, or a change in the script I have yet to hear about, it's just not working for me.Is anyone else having issues with this? Or better yet, do you know how to fix it?, Let me know with a comment!
